JOIN MY NEWSLETTER FOR DETAILS OF TWO FREE CLASSES THIS WEEK AND ALL THE INFORMATION ON HOW TO JOIN
This week is all change for me. I am starting my new, online, class times, with an offer of trying them out for free. I do hope some of you can join me. The classes will be a wonderful introduction to Kundalini Global, exploring our relationship to the ideas of stillness and gentleness. Totally suitable for beginners. It’s going to be lovely, fun and, I hope, a real experience.
The first class is on Monday at 7pm, UK time. The second is on Wednesday morning at 10am. I will be sending all of the details via my email newsletter on Monday morning, so if you would like to join, please make sure you are on my email list. You can sign up below, or on the homepage of this site. If you have any problems signing up please get in touch.
If you want to know more on what to expect, check out my recent post on ‘What to Expect in a Kundalini Global Class’.

Cows and cake
This week I have been busy getting ready for my son’s 9th Birthday which was yesterday. I was left in charge of decorations, which is always a bad idea, and ended up with a ‘nature’ theme which was largely built around my choice of buying a life-sized cardboard cutout of a cow. I am in love with it. It may well be making an appearance in my free classes this week so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Prayers and Family
In the world of yoga, I have taught a few classes this week, one of which was to my wonderful peers from the Kundalini Global teacher training. It’s always very lovely to teach the group because we’ve truly created a family that is supportive, creative, and wonderful in a lot of ways.
As a student, I tried my first ever Yin class this week with the sublime Wild Wolf Movement. I absolutely loved it. I felt like I was in a dreamland during and after. It was so nurturing and kind. I will be continuing to attend from now on.
I am very excited to be starting the first of a 5 Part Prayer Workshop with Carolyn Cowan tomorrow. All of Carolyn’s workshops are special, and this one promises to be quite the experience. We’ve each had the most divine smelling package of goodies sent out to use alongside the modules. I’ll write more about that soon.

Feathers
When I have had a spare minute in recent weeks, I’ve been spending time decorating feathers. A weird one, I know. When I was on my teacher training we had quite an experience when Carolyn activated our wings (did you know you have wings? If not, remind me I will show you some time!) Ever since my wings were activated, I find I am increasingly fascinated with watching birds. This latest feather art is something I am enjoying. The feathers will be given away to anyone who would like one for their alter or home practise space.

Books
Book wise, I am currently re-reading The Courage to Be Disliked, which has some deeper resonance with me since I first read it back at the start of the year.
I bought a brand new book, ‘The Book of Symbols’ from Taschen, which I have fallen deeply in love with an spent many hours already lost in its pages.
I finished reading ‘Witches, Sluts, Feminists’ by Kristen J Sollee, which I hugely enjoyed. It’s not an academic book, as such, but I wrote down SO many other books mentioned throughout. Brilliantly intersectional, the book covers a huge cross-cultural history of witches into modern day feminist, queer, non-binary witches and witchcraft practices. The writing is very fun and easy. Recommend. If you’d like more detailed book reviews on my blog then please do let me know!
I think that’s about all for now, but do keep checking back on the blog as I plan to update 3 times per week.
Don’t forget about the free classes. All you need to do to join is make sure you’re on my email list. It’s going to be so fun, I can’t wait!
See you there.
